Subscription Policy

We want your experience with RIVI to be perfect. If you'd like to cancel your order or subscription, we're here to help, but timing is key.

Some items in our store may be offered as a subscription, a pre-order, or try-before-you-buy. This Cancellation Policy explains how you can modify or cancel these types of purchases, as well as standard orders.

Canceling Your Order

Orders are processed quickly once they're placed. Most cancellations can be handled within 24–48 hours of order placement, depending on when your order was placed and our fulfillment volume. However, the pick and pack process often moves very fast, so we recommend reaching out as soon as possible.

Depending on how far your order has progressed through our fulfillment process, we may be able to offer a partial cancellation of specific items.

How to Request a Cancellation

To cancel or partially cancel your order, email us right away at:

support@getrivi.com

Please include the following details:

  • Your full name as on the order
  • Your order number
  • Your email address used on the order (for verification)
  • Items you wish to cancel (if requesting partial cancellation)

Subscriptions

When you purchase a RIVI subscription, you'll receive automatic repeat deliveries based on the subscription duration and frequency you select at checkout.

How Subscriptions Work:

  • Your payment method will be stored securely
  • You'll be charged automatically for each delivery unless you choose to pay in advance
  • Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of their duration
  • You maintain full control to modify or cancel at any time after your first subscription cycle

Canceling Your Subscription:

You can cancel your subscription anytime after completing your first subscription cycle.

You have two options:

Option 1: Manage Through Your Account

  • Check your order confirmation email for a direct link to manage your subscription
  • Log in to your RIVI account and navigate to "My Subscriptions"
  • Select the subscription you want to cancel
  • Click "Cancel Subscription"

Option 2: Contact Customer Support

Email us at support@getrivi.com with:

  • Your full name
  • Order or subscription number
  • Email address used for the subscription

Important Subscription Details:

  • You must complete your first subscription cycle before canceling
  • To avoid being charged for the next delivery, cancel at least 48 hours before your next scheduled shipment date
  • If you cancel after a shipment has been processed, that delivery cannot be stopped, but you will not be charged for future deliveries
  • Once canceled, you'll receive a confirmation email

You can also pause or modify your subscription frequency instead of canceling by managing it through your account dashboard or contacting support.

Refunds for Subscriptions:

Once a subscription order has been processed and shipped, it follows our standard Returns Policy. No refund is provided for deliveries that have already been shipped. Future charges will stop once your cancellation is processed.

Pre-Orders

When you purchase a pre-order, you are reserving an out-of-stock or soon-to-be-available product that is not yet in our inventory.

How Pre-Orders Work:

  • We may collect no payment or a partial deposit at checkout
  • Your payment method will be securely stored
  • The full or remaining balance will be charged when the product becomes available and your order is fulfilled
  • You'll receive email notifications throughout the pre-order process, including when your order ships

Canceling Pre-Orders:

Before Fulfillment:

  • You can cancel a pre-order at any time before it has been fulfilled and shipped
  • Contact us at support@getrivi.com with your order number
  • Include "Pre-Order Cancellation" in the subject line
  • We'll process your cancellation and refund any deposit within 5–10 business days

After Fulfillment:

Once your pre-order has been fulfilled and shipped, it cannot be canceled. However, you may request a return subject to our Returns Policy (unopened products only).

Pre-Order Delays:

If your pre-order is significantly delayed beyond the estimated availability date, you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund of any payments made.

Try Before You Buy

When you purchase a try-before-you-buy item, you have the opportunity to test the product before being fully charged.

How Try Before You Buy Works:

  • We authorize (but do not charge) your payment method when you place the order
  • Your order is shipped immediately
  • You have a specified trial period (indicated at checkout) to decide if you want to keep the product
  • At the end of the trial period, if you have not returned the item, we will charge your payment method for the full amount

Trial Period:

The trial period begins on the day you receive your order (confirmed by tracking or delivery confirmation). The length of your trial period will be clearly stated at checkout.

Returning Try-Before-You-Buy Items:

  • Initiate your return before the trial period ends by contacting support@getrivi.com
  • Products must be returned unopened and unused to qualify for a refund
  • Follow the return instructions provided in our Returns Policy
  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the product arrived damaged or defective

What Happens After the Trial Period:

If the trial period expires and you have not initiated a return, we will automatically charge your payment method for the full purchase amount. At that point, the item is considered purchased and subject to our standard Returns Policy.

Refunds & Processing Times

If we are able to cancel your order before it has been fulfilled, we will process a full refund of your payment.

Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank's processing times.

  • We confirm your cancellation and submit the refund to your payment method
  • Your bank processes the refund on their end
  • Most refunds appear within 5–10 business days

What Happens After Fulfillment

Once your order has been picked, packed, or shipped, we unfortunately cannot cancel it. However, you may still return it once received if it meets our return eligibility requirements.

Important: RIVI products must be unopened and unused to qualify for a return. Opened products cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons.
